The only animal source in this product is the hard gelatine capsule that is made from pharmaceutical grade bovine gelatine (bone and skin of calves). These capsules have been certified fit for Muslim consumption by IFANCA (Islamic Food And Nutrition Council of America) and have been acknowledged by the Malaysian Islamic Centre.

What is ginseng?
   
Ginseng is known as an adaptogen. Adaptogens are substances that enable the body to better cope with stress. If an adaptogen is taken to normalise blood sugar, it should increase blood sugar level when it is low and vice versa. A true adaptogen would not change blood sugar level that is normal.
